Talking with Neri Hali (ototowarm)

halineri25@gmail.com

Google hangout conversation:

These are your first messages. She says she is a lieutenant in Afghanistan and reveals what she is looking for.

Here she confirms that she is a bitcoin investor. How can she invest in bitcoins in Afghanistan?

Here she talks about the need to get a vacation.

She talks more about vacation ...

A sad history....

She goes on sending boring messages about love, relationships, and sends two pictures of a child she claims to be her child. But I'll skip this part.

This is the interesting part: she begins to instruct me to get in touch with the sector responsible for the military holidays.

She gives me two emails: The first is:

military_logisticsdepartment@usa.com

However, she recommended me to contact using this email:

military_logisticsdepartment@gmx.de

It's strange that the US military uses these emails with these strange suffixes. I know that domains with the suffix ".de" belongs to Germany. So I visited the gmx.de to check what kind of site it is.

I do not understand German, but I observed that it is a news portal. Anyone in the world can register an email address for free. This does not seem to be something the American military would do!

It became very obvious: that user was creating false stories!

But I was determined to see how far this farce would go. I sent a message to the above email following the instructions of Neri Heli. This was the answer I got:

defence.gov is a domain that I expected to be used by the US military. But it's wrong! The correct is defense.gov !! This scammer has created a history full of inconsistencies.

Attached to the email is the following PDF file:

Pay attention to section B:

This procedure does not exist! Nobody pays for vacations! No one can ask for a vacation on behalf of a US soldier! He is the one who must do it using the official channels! I repeat: this procedure DOES NOT EXIST!. The values required are exorbitant.

4 weeks: 1.500 USD
8 weeks: 2.500 USD
12 weeks: 3.500 USD
16 weeks: 4.750 USD
20 weeks: 5.500 USD
24 weeks: 6.500 USD

In the meantime the scammer sends me another fake picture:

It does not look like a military in service in Afghanistan!

The conversation was long, slow, and boring. I decided it was time to confront this scammer:

I sent the code from a bitcoin wallet and the person showed ignorance! He Do not know anything about bitcoins!

All scammers are cowards and when confronted they insist on holding their lies. They do not tell the truth in no time. They know they are wrong and rely on lies to deceive people and rip off money. This was the last message this person sent me!

I have no doubt: SCAM! This is a well-known fraud. Check the links below with numerous similar cases:
